Going to give it another try.

So as you can tell I'm not so good at this blogging thing, but I'm going to give it another try. So I'm going to catch up alittle. We had a great summer and it ended with a good surprise. We found out that our little family of two will soon be three. We are so excited!! We decide to tell our parents, siblings,and grandparents right away, but wanted to wait till Halloween to tell the world. We both had a few weak moments along the way and told a few others early. But I think we did pretty good considering that Halloween was two months away from when we found out. Our announcement couldn't have gone any better.

We made our shirts the night before and even though they turned out cute they were a BIG pain to make. I found the idea on another blog along time ago and thought that it was way cute. The girl that made them said it would only take like 15-30 mins max to make them. Well she must be super woman when it comes to crafting, because it took us hours. And I had to finish Casey's shirt the next day before work. We almost gave up on them more than once, but I'm glad we didn't cuz they were a BIG HIT.

I'm due in May and it feels forever away. I have been incredible sick for about two months now and it doesn't seem like it's going to let up any time soon. I keep hearing that it will happen soon, so I'm trying to stay positive. I just really miss liking food. If the way I feel about food right now has any indication what the baby likes we are goners, cuz this is the most picky baby in the world. I will go to the grocery store and can fill the basket full of food that sounds good and by time I get it all home the thought of eating of any it makes me sick. Poor Casey is living off of top ramen and soup, cuz I can't cook. Thank goodness we have dinner at his parents at least once a week or he might waste away. The only thing that seems to agree with me is eggs, which I didn't really care for before my body was taken over by this child of mine. I have a feeling lots of new things are in store for us for the rest of our lives now.

MORE SUMMER MADNESS

FISH LAKE JULY 2011

We spent alot of time at the cabin this summer. Here are some pics from our trip in July. We caught a crazy amount of fish. It was so much fun!!

Casey is trying to teach me how to gut and clean my own fish. Me being the nurse that I am. I'm more interested in looking at their organs. I know I'm gross, but I just can't help myself. For those who think I'm alittle bird (and you know who you are) you would be so proud of me!!

We caught 8 fish that morning within 2 hours. It was just the two of us, and it was madness. One of us would catch one and by time we got it in the boat the other person woud catch one. We couldn't stop laughing. I have never seen Casey have so much fishing before that morning. So all in all we caught 10 fish that trip. WE ROCK!!!

PINEVIEW FAMILY TRIP JULY 2011

We had our yearly family trip at Pineview in July this year. The water was still freezing! But we had a blast. Thank you to Grandpa and Pete they drove us around the lake for hours everyday. It was a blast!!

Our Crazy Summer

We have had a Crazy Busy summer. I still feel like we are recovering. We still have a few camping items hanging out around our apartment. It's kinda sad, but so is life right? Here's a recap of some of the fun things we did this summer.

FISH LAKE JUNE 2011

This was our first trip of the year to the cabin. Casey and I got there first that night and this is what we found waiting for us. Every year there are always a few branches and trees that have fallen down during the winter. But it has never or at least many many years since it's been this bad.

While we were waiting for Fritz and Shauna to arrive with the chain saw Casey and I decided to go on a drive. I don't know if you can see the Elk in the trees, but we came across a large herd of them. There are some on the left side of the picture and in the middle you can see a bunch of tan bumps. They were all coming into that spot for the night. It was amazing!! We could hear them calling to each other and they were much farther away than they appear to be in the pic. We probably sat there for a good 30 mins just watching them come from all over. The next night we took Casey's parents on a drive and found them agian. We counted over 20 of them.

Casey and Fritz spent the weekend clearing all that had fallen down. I think they ended up having 18 or more loads. CRAZY!!

OUR 4TH ANNIVERSARY

For our anniversary we always go to Logan and spend the weekend at Providence Inn.

We found this BEAUTIFUL waterfall in Logan canyon. The river was so high when we were there. This waterfall isn't visible unless the water is really high.

Us eating dinner at a new BBQ place that we decided to try out. It was way yummy. I think we both had a meat hangover by time we were done eating. But it was well worth it!

I can't believe it's been 4 years since we got married. It's gone by so quick!! I truely married my best friend that day.

We met when we were 19 and we looked like babies back than. This was our first valentines together. I can't believe how young we were. This pic makes me laugh we were so young and SO skinny!
